CANS Usability Evaluation Plan (starting September 2007)
We plan to conduct formative evaluation with representative users in IE lab using scenarios & think-aloud techniques. The goal of formative evaluation is to identify aspects of design that can be improved, to set priorities, and to provide guidance in how to make changes to a design.

September - Usability of Activity Manager with static Activity Viewer (2 instructors)
Test ability to manage and view activity reporters

October – Usability of Activity Manager with Activity viewer (4 students)
Test ability to manage and view activity reporters

November/December – Usability of notification in worksite (4 students & 2 instructors)
Study how they use worksite notifications with Activity Manager
